Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely happy and love your new purchase from us. If for any reason you need to return the item, we can offer an exchange or refund on all full priced clothing. You will however have to cover the return shipping costs yourself. 

All returns/exchanges are processed through our online portal below. Once we have received your return safe and sound at our warehouse, we will then issue your exchange, store credit or refund via our website using the same method of payment that you used to place the original order.

Please understand that at this stage we cannot cover the costs of return shipping back to us and do not offer refunds or exchanges on clearance items.

Returns Policy 

This Returns Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made on www.fudgegifts.com.au

1. General

FUDGE offer refunds, repairs and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and on the terms set out in this Policy. Before making a purchase, please read this Policy so that you can understand your rights and what you can expect if you are not satisfied with your order.

 2. Returns and Refunds

FUDGE may, at their sole discretion, provide a refund on the return of full priced Products within 30 days of receipt of the Products by you, where the Product is in a saleable condition. This means the Products must be unused, unworn, unwashed and with the original tags. To request a refund please:

  • Return the products in person to our store at Shop 19, Brentford Square, Forest Hill VIC 3131 (shipping fees do not apply) - Please read T&C's

You acknowledge and agree that you are required to pay a $10 shipping & handling fee and any associated fees with any refund pursuant to this clause. If your return is not accepted by FUDGE, you will be responsible to pay for all shipping costs involved in returning the Product to you. Refunds will be made by way of the original payment method.

3. Exchanges - Clothing

FUDGE may, and their sole discretion, exchange a full priced item of clothing within 30 days. The Product must remain in a saleable condition. This means the Product must be unused, unworn, unwashed and with the original tags. To request an exchange:

  • Return the products in person to our store at Shop 19, Brentford Square, Forest Hill VIC 3131. If the item you want to exchange for is not available, you may be issued store credit or a refund.  Please read T&C's

If your exchange is not accepted by FUDGE, you will be required to pay for all shipping costs involved in returning the Product to you. 

4. Sale items and other Exclusions

All items purchased on sale are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. Please keep this in mind when making a purchase. For hygiene reasons, intimates and swimwear may not be exchanged and cannot be returned.

Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Policy, FUDGE may refuse to provide an exchange or refund for a Product purchased by you if:

  • You misused the said product in a way which caused the problem.
  • You knew or were made aware of the problem(s) with the product or service before you purchased it.
  • Any other exceptions apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Customer Responsibility

If returning or exchanging a Product, it is your responsibility to ensure safe delivery. Title in the Goods remains with you until it is safely delivered to FUDGE. FUDGE does not accept any responsibility for Products returned to the incorrect address or return and exchange Products damaged in transit. Items that are damaged, lost or returned without authorisation will not be accepted.

6. Damaged and Faulty Items

FUDGE's Products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If the Product you have received is faulty or damaged, please e-mail sales@fudgegifts.com.au with your proof of purchase, an outline of the fault or damage, photographs and any other relevant information within 7 days of receiving the item. FUDGE will contact you within 3 business days to follow up your request.

In the event that an item is lost or damaged in the course of the Delivery Services, FUDGE asks that you:

  • contact Australia Post directly to request a refund or to claim on any insurance options available; and
  • contact FUDGE by sending an email to sales@fudgegifts.com.au outlining in what way the Products were damaged in transit so that FUDGE is able to determine if Australia Post should be removed from the purchase services.

In order to make a Warranty Claim during the Warranty Period, please e-mail sales@fudgegifts.com.au with your proof of purchase, an outline of the fault or damage, photographs and any other relevant information. FUDGE will contact you within 3 business days to follow up your request.

Where the Warranty Claim is accepted then FUDGE will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace any defective Products or part thereof with a new or remanufactured equivalent during the Warranty Period at no charge to you for parts or labour.

The Warranty does not apply to any appearance of the supplied Products nor to any supplied Products where the exterior of which has been damaged or defaced, which has been subjected to misuse, abnormal service or handling, or which has been altered or modified in design or construction.

In the event that a product you have purchased fails to meet one or more Consumer Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, we shall bear any cost of shipping the said product (the "Returned Product") back to us, as well as any cost of shipping any replacement product to you.

In the event that we organise and pay for the inspection, postage, shipping, transportation or collection of a Returned Product, and it turns out not to be eligible for a repair, replacement or refund under the terms of this Policy (including under the Australian Consumer Law), then you will be required to pay the costs of any inspection, postage, shipping, transportation or collection of the Returned Product.

7. Response Time

We aim to process any requests for repairs, replacements or refunds within 5 days of receipt.
